Hello, friends and neighbors, welcome back, I'm Steven with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at our CURT T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with the four-pole flat trailer connector. Now with any wiring connector here, or most of 'em, they are custom fit, I went ahead and threw up that by my left-hand shoulder, this particular part fits a 2018 through 2022 Toyota CHR, and it also fits the 2022s to 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross with LED lights. So if you've got a trailer hitch on your Subaru Forester and you're wanting to start pulling trailers with it, first off, you will want to check with your owner's manual, see what your vehicle's capable of pulling. And then second off, you'll want to add four-pole wiring. The four-pole wiring is gonna give your four lighting functions, which are going to be your stop and turn signals and your running light signals. Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2017 Nissan Murano, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness. Adding a 4-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness to the back of your Murano is gonna allow you to safely transfer the lighting signals from your Murano to your trailer to let others know what your intentions are when you're pulling that trailer. This kit will give you your left turn signal, your right turn signal. It will combine those signals to give you your stop signal. It'll have your running lights and then the fourth wire on your 4-Pole is going to be your ground so that the system works properly. more

Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2023 Chevrolet Traverse- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Tekonsha Custom Trailer Wiring Harness for a 7-pole on a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse. Having 7-pole wiring on your Traverse is gonna be a great option for hooking up to trailers that have a 7-way plug, and that way you can get all your lighting functions as far as your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights keeping you safe. And this is also the first step of getting a brake controller installed. You will need a 7-pole to get that brake output signal to your trailer brakes. And this one is a super easy installation. It uses a factory plug that's located just kind of behind the rear fascia and so it really is a plug and play. more

Hello neighbors, this is Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the CURT seven-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2023 Chevrolet Traverse. Adding a seven-way plug to the back of your Traverse is gonna be a great option when pulling a trailer that has a seven-pole plug. It's gonna give you all your lighting functions, which include your running lights, your turn signals, and brake lights. Also, this is a great first step to getting a brake controller installed as this is gonna be required to send that brake output signal. Now as far as getting this installed, this is truly plug-and-play. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Four-Pole Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2024 Mazda CX-90. Adding trailer wiring harness to any vehicle that has a hitch is a great idea and the CX-90 is no different. And the reason being is, you may be using this just for a bike rack or cargo carrier, but if you ever have to pull a small trailer for whatever reason, you wanna be able to hook up to it and be legal and safe. And that's what this is going to do. It's gonna transmit the light signals from your running lights, your turn signals and brake lights to the lights on your trailer. And luckily enough, this is actually a really easy installation to do by yourself. more

Curt Powered Tail Light Converter Installation - 2023 Dodge Hornet- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look and installing the Curt universal four-pole trailer wiring harness on a 2023 Dodge Hornet. If you have a hitch on your Hornet, or if you ever plan on pulling a trailer, I highly recommend picking up four-pole trailer wiring. Even if you don't plan on pulling anything, it's really nice to be able to have this here just in case, maybe you move a little utility trailer, whatever it may be, you'll be able to get those light functions working, keeping you safe and legal, and the way this works, you'll have your four-pole plug that can live here with the dust cap on your hitch, and you'll just plug that into the trailer whenever you're ready to go, but this ties into your factory light signals, so you're gonna get that running light, turn signal, and brake light. Now this system is fuse-protected, as well as module-protected, so even though you're tying into your factory taillights, you don't really have to worry too much about it causing any issues long-term, and this is a universal kit, meaning, we're gonna be quick-splicing into some of those connections, which, you don't have to be a wiring guru to do. It's pretty straightforward. You are gonna need to run a power wire underneath the vehicle up to the battery, which can get a little bit tricky, but, honestly, I think that's the hardest part. more

Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2014 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the Tekonsha T1 four-Pole trailer wiring harness on a 2014 Jeep Wrangler. If you have a hitch on your Jeep, it's worthwhile picking up a four-pole trailer wiring harness. And the reason being, you may not tow a trailer that often, but if you have a hitch and the availability to put a ball mount on, it's nice to be able to tow a small utility trailer and in our neighbor's case, a small boat trailer. And in order to do that legally and safely, you're gonna need to have the lights on the trailer work and the four-pole end on our Tekonsha is gonna be a great way to do that. Now this is a super easy installation. Really all it just involves is taking out the driver's side taillight, plugging it in, and then routing your four pole wherever you need. more

And over here, we have a kit made by Hopkins, and what all these are gonna do or accomplish is send power to your trailer, letting all the lights work like they should, so you'll get your turn signals, your brake lights, as well as your tail lights. And if you we inchesre to ask me what kit I would use on my own personal vehicle, I think in the case of the CR-V, I would lean more towards the Curt. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2022 Hyundai Tucson and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT factory prep seven-pole kit. Now if your Hyundai Tucson is prepped to have trailer wiring connected up to it, this seven-pole is gonna be extremely easy to get installed. It's especially easy if you're doing it at home. There's a lot of different kits that are very difficult to get into place on certain vehicles, but as long as you have that factory connector, which is gonna be right up behind our bumper piece here, you look up there, ours was wrapped with blue tape so you can see it. But the factory connectors there, this kit's gonna plug right into it. more

Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness Installation - 2023 Mazda CX-30- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT four-pole wiring harness on your 2023 Mazda CX30. In order to use your wiring for this kit, all you have to do is open up the rear hatch, lift up your storage panel, pull your wiring out, and run it down to your trailer. And when you close your rear hatch, you just want to be sure to keep it far enough away from this latch so that it doesn't make contact with it. The weather seal here will protect the wiring and won't cause any damage, but when you get ready to hook up to a trailer, then your wiring's right here, you can connect to the trailer and it's gonna make you safe and legal when traveling down the road. Your four-pole wiring harness is gonna be your most common out on the road. more

Now this is gonna be a great option for you if you're looking for something that's gonna be able to help you haul a small trailer or put on any smaller accessories on the back of your hitch. It's just gonna be something that's gonna give you a little bit extra security, letting you be able to use lights. It's just gonna hang out the back of your hatch so it's really easy to access and when you do need to put it away, you simply can just move the mat you have in the back and open up this storage area. If you don't wanna use this storage area, you can use one of the ones you have on the side too. And one of the major selling points of this wiring kit we have today is how quick and easy it is to work with. more
